The Community Collaborative Rain, Hail and Snow Network plays an important role in agriculture and is seeking volunteers to help collect precipitation data.

If you enjoy the weather and want to get more involved in your community, the National Weather Service can use your help as a CoCoRaHS observer.

We need people in the weather to make observations.

During a two-hour class, individuals will learn about safety, terminology, and reporting of severe weather.

Dave Wierstad has been keeping detailed weather records at his house since 1962. The CoCoRaHS network could use more people like him.
