Waterville Rotary awards 8 food insecurity grants Share Waterville Rotary Club recently took $15,000 from reserves to offer grants addressing area food insecurity. The Community Services Committee, chaired by KVCAP’s Michele Prince, was charged with developing grant criteria, an application and scoring process for the committee members to fairly evaluate the applications. April 7, 2021 In hopes of addressing food insecurity in the greater Waterville area, the Rotary Club of Waterville recently voted to take $15K out of their reserves in order to help fund local organizations. The club decided to go with a mini grant program allowing a request of up to $3K, to help as many people as possible. Eight organizations were chosen.
