Claims of Sunderland interest in Town striker Connor Wickham have been revived by one of this morning’s tabloids as speculation regarding the 17-year-old’s future continues.

Town are reported to have put a £9 million price tag on 18-year-old midfielder Teddy Bishop.

Boss Paul Jewell says the players currently out of his first team are showing the right attitude as they look to win a place in the starting XI. Defenders Tommy Smith and Darren O’Dea, midfielders Luciano Civelli and Jaime Peters and striker Tamás Priskin are currently amongst those regularly amongst the substitutes and not starting.
