Detectives are confident of more arrests in the near future over what was described as Australiaâs only unsolved police shooting - the 1999 robbery of a Logan bank and the shooting of a Queensland police officer.
He was charged with 13 offences and appeared in Brisbane Magistrates Court on Wednesday. He was remanded in custody to reappear in the same court on February 8.
The man has been charged with two counts of attempted murder, seven counts of deprivation of liberty, three counts of violent armed robbery and one count of unlawful use of a motor vehicle.

A 49-year-old Brisbane man was arrested in the Logan area yesterday, after a search of seven properties in Logan, Brisbane and the Sunshine Coast.
The man appeared in Brisbane Magistrates Court this morning charged with a total of 13 offences, including attempted murder, armed robbery with violence and deprivation of liberty.
