A Knoxville man has been handed a life sentence for the murder of his girlfriend in 2021. Ronald Eugene Fox II, 33, was convicted of first-degree murder, tampering with evidence and false reporting. Constance Davidson, 37, was found shot and killed in her home on Martin Luther King Jr. Avenue on May 22, 2021.

Officers responded to a home on the 2900 block of Martin Luther King Jr. Avenue at about 11:45 p.m. Saturday after receiving a call about a shooting.
