Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath on Sunday directed the administration to be on alert, following the increase in the water level of the Kuano river at Chandradeep Ghat.

In view of heavy rainfall in the past 24 hours and waterlogging in various parts of the city, the administration issued an advisory for the residents of Lucknow on Friday, advising them to not leave the house until it is indispensable.

Municipal commissioner Pratibha Pal said the officials saw the door to door garbage collection work in Nyay Nagar, solid waste management and sanitation work, dry drain in Musakhedi Chaudhary Park, garbage transfer station at Star Square, City Bus Office Control Command Center.
