The police received information about a wheel breaking loose from a vehicle in the area of Park Avenue and Empire Avenue.

The Park City Police Department in early October and late September stopped numerous drivers for a variety of suspected offenses, including a string of speeding cases.

The Park City Police Department on Saturday night received two reports involving suspected intoxication in the vicinity of the same intersection.

The stretch of S.R. 248 between the intersections with Bonanza Drive and U.S. 40 will be milled and then new asphalt put down as part of the work. Adjustments to the striping are also planned and would involve a slight narrowing of the through lanes of the eastbound and westbound sides of the road between the intersections with Bonanza Drive and Wyatt Earp Way.

On Sunday, May 7 at 5:39 a.m., a police officer stopped a driver on eastbound U.S. 40, indicating a trailer was dragging chains. There were sparks as the chains touched the ground, police logs indicated.

A 30-year-old man from Elk Grove, Calif. has been arrested on several charges after leading law enforcement on a chase from US50 near Cave Rock through Carson City and into Reno. At 10:00 p.m. on April 3, deputies from the Douglas County Sheriffs Office attempted a traffic stop on a black Dodge Ram truck near Cave Rock.
