The Los Angeles jazz community wholeheartedly welcomes the news of a new Sunday Jazz at Ora concert series in 2024.

He’s original. Producer, artist and creator of NBRHDSRÉ, Sol, brings a sense of authenticity to music that enchants listeners with the instrumentation and impactful verses.

Tipping the scale back towards the scale is L.A. based artist Kwame Adu. Originally from New Jersey, Adu has planted himself in Northeast Los Angeles. Focusing on the art of his presentation and lyrics, Adu most recently performed at Hot and Cool Café in Leimert Park earlier this year, he looks to bring a sense of retrospective thought back into the creation of music.

On a sunny Saturday, February 18, Assemblymember Isaac G. Bryan (D-55, Los Angeles), led California Lieutenant Governor Eleni Kounalakis on a tour of small Black businesses in the historic Leimert Park neighborhood in South Los Angeles.   

All Chill Inc is a hip-hop ice cream shop located in the heart of Leimert Park. Founded by husband and wife, Julian Petty and Genelle Brooks-Petty, All Chill is a unique blend of hip-hop infused with a variety of ice creams

The trio was accompanied by a camera crew, possibly to feature the café in the upcoming Apple TV+, Clinton-led show Gutsy Women.

The Hot and Cool Café, located in Leimert Park, Los Angeles, was recently the venue for a well-attended press conference where Wells Fargo announced a $1 Million Dollars investment in the Los Angeles Urban League, the 100-year-old highly respected civil-rights and economic empowerment organization.
