The negotiating text will be debated and reworked by diplomats and ministers from nearly 200 countries before its hoped-for adoption at the end of the summit.

The developing countries are united in their demand for the establishment of the Sharm El Sheikh Finance Facility for Loss and Damage (SSFFLD) at the end of the climate conference later this week.

On 7th November, the United Nations Climate Change Conference, also known as COP27, started in Sharm El Sheikh, Egypt. The Conference of Parties is being attended by 200 nations that will discuss various policies related to climate change. The annual meeting will go on till November 18, when leaders of various nations agree on policies to limit the global rise in temperatures.
