Hes very isolated as a leader. im not yet convinced that he knows what his grand strategy is yet here. i do think he wants to weaken the ukrainian government. destabilize eastern ukraine and perhaps do that to negotiate a more federalized system of government. and at the same time, hes also making preparations for plan "b", which would be full scale intervention. i dont think hes made up his mind entirely, but hes got a lot of cards to play. the kiev government and the west dont have a lot of co...
