Henderson County (Feb 7, 2023) - Denied a public hearing on a landowner’s plans to build a lodge and private club in rural Green River, residents of Cabin Creek Road implored Henderson County commissioners on Monday to step in and take a closer look at whether the request is “a loophole” that evades the intent of the county land-use code.

Henderson County (Sep 6, 2022) - An overflow crowd that descended on Henderson Countys Historic Courthouse Tuesday night implored the Board of Commissioners to reject a 2045 draft comprehensive land-use plan that they said encourages sprawl and does too little to protect farmland, open space and natural resources.
