Superintendent Cornelia Brown is retiring at the end of the school year.

Residents will have a chance to weigh in on the proposed budget so far at the next School Committee meeting.

Members of the public are encouraged to submit letters of interest for those who want to serve on the Superintendent Search Committee.

Some members of the Walton School neighborhood and parents of students at the school do not want to see the school closed.

School Committee members also established the Curriculum Development Reserve Fund, which will need to have funds added to it yearly. 

Lisbon and Auburn students will return to school on Monday with a two-hour delay.

The suit alleges administrators failed to take action on reports of teachers bullying, demeaning and in some case inappropriately touching students.

If she is reelected, she will help update the Auburn School Department's emergency response plan and implement the ALICE training program.

She would take Superintendent Cornelia Brown’s lead and continue to support fiscal responsibility when it comes to the school budget.
