Five inmates overdosed and were part of at least 14 total arrests over two days last week after illegal drugs were smuggled into the Putnam County Jail.

Putnam County Sheriff Eddie Farris says theres "no doubt" in his mind that a man arrested last month with weapons and explosive materials "was going to do harm."

The execution of a search warrant near an elementary school in Cookeville has led to two arrests.
