At a young age, he became involved in community programs and helped found the City-County Youth Council, now called the Mayor’s Youth Advisory Council. In talking about his campaign, Evans said that youth development is the under-discussed issue he is most interested in.

Reply January 25, 2021 Pursuant to Executive Order 203, Governor Cuomo directed all municipalities in New York State to submit a plan with suggestions on how to improve services and increase trust between the police and the community. To that end, the Town of New Castle Police Reform and Reinvention Collaborative Committee (NCPRRC) is conducting a survey designed to gather feedback and gauge the public s experiences and opinions of the New Castle Police Department (NCPD) to inform our efforts to improve community policing in New Castle. The survey is a collaboration between the Council on Race and Equity (CRE), NCPRRC, and the Town of New Castle. This study is a collaborative effort driven by the community, and
