The House voted Friday to pass a massive $1.7 trillion spending bill that would fund critical government operations across federal agencies and provide emergency aid for Ukraine.

The nearly $1.7 trillion government funding package boosts defense and domestic spending and includes more than $44 billion in emergency aid to Ukraine.

Iowa Sens. Chuck Grassley and Joni Ernst both opposed the $1.7 trillion spending package that passed with the approval of 18 GOP senators.
