AUTRAIN, MI--    A downstate teen has died in a snowmobile accident in AuTrain. Saturday around 6:15 p.m. Alger County Dispatch received several calls reporting a snowmobile accident on Trail #7. The Alger County Sheriff’s Office, Alger EMS, Rescue 21, the DNR and Guardian Flight responded. MUNISING — A downstate teenager was pronounced dead after a snowmobile crash in Alger County on Saturday. Alger County Dispatch received several reports around 6:16 p.m. of a snowmobile accident on Trail No. 7 in Au Train Township. MUNISING, MI--   An ice climber had to be rescued after they fell from a formation near Munising on Friday. Around 3:45 p.m. Alger County Dispatch received a 911 call saying a climber had fallen about 20 feet and had significant injuries. The victim had been climbing the formation known as “Sweet Mother Moses” about a half-mile east of Sand Point.
