Cuet Scores News Today

Until now, the institute held its own National Entrance Test (NET) popularly known as TISSNET for admission to all PG courses.

As an interim measure, the admission policy framed by the Court in an order passed last year, by which it had allowed 15% weightage for interviews, shall be followed for the Academic Year 2023-24.

The development comes as DU and Delhi's reputed St. Stephen's College tussled over CUET scores.

DU colleges are required to approve online applications of the candidates from November 14 to 16 once they verify the documents and eligibility criteria for different programmes after the allotted seats are accepted by the candidates.

Unlike CUET-UG, no normalisation of scores has been conducted for the postgraduate (PG) entrance, and universities will announce their rank lists on the basis of 'raw' marks instead.

Delhi University will consider subject-based normalised CUET scores of candidates for admission to undergraduate programmes.

Meanwhile, the application process for the Common University Entrance Test (CUET 2022) for admission to undergraduate programmes commenced from today (April 6).

The UGC had last month announced that CUET scores, and not Class 12 scores, will be mandatory for admission to 45 central universities and the varsities can fix their minimum eligibility criteria.

Jamia Millia Islamia will use CUET scores to admit students in eight courses.
