The Greater Danbury area was hit by severe storms on Saturday evening and some places got hit worse than others. Eyewitnesses are saying the Bridgewater/Roxbury line was an area where things were particularly bad. On Monday morning (08/14/23) we received a call from the I-95 Morning Show Meteorologist Jack Drake who offered to do a report on the the weather event. Below are the highlights of our discussion with Jack.

Keith Richards, Dickey Betts, Andrew Dice Clay have all visited the Ridgefield Playhouse and all of them have left a lasting memory on Jared Shahid, the Managing Director at the Playhouse. Recently, Shahid joined us on the the I-95 Morning Show with Ethan, Lou & Dave. Whenever he comes in, he brings tickets and stories for our audience. These are some of the amazing behind the scenes tales he shared with us on Thursday (5/25/23).

Krazy Vin's was a New Milford Gentleman's club back in the day and the sign created a lot of buzz around town. We asked New Milford Mayor Pete Bass about it when he joined the I-95 Morning Show on Wednesday (5/17/23).

Mayor Pete Bass joined the I-95 Morning Show on Tuesday (4/11/23) to talk about all things New Milford. We asked him what he'd like to see accomplished in the near future and he brought up the riverfront revitalization project, saying:

On Tuesday (4/4/23), Danbury Mayor Dean Esposito shared the broad strokes of his budget proposal in an official press release. The proposal featured a significant mill rate reduction. We asked the Mayor to share a bit more with us on the I-95 Morning Show. Esposito was our guest on Friday (4/7/23).

Finally, we heard from the Chair of the Democratic Town Committee in Brookfield, Aaron Zimmer. Zimmer was a guest on the Ethan, Lou & Large Dave Show on Tuesday (2/14/23) and said the 5G tower is less of a question, and more of certainty that poses no risk to the community. We asked Zimmer his thoughts on the 5G Tower, this was his response:

Every time you turn your head, it appears there is a new development breaking ground in Brookfield and while growth is key, what about our open spaces? Recently, we learned that Brookfield First Selectman Tara Carr is actively putting measures into place to ensure the town's future is not all concrete and metal.

I was there, this past Friday (1/13/23) and I was watching a movie on the big screen while having a tequila concoction when I heard the owner Jared going wild. He was reacting to something on someone's phone.
