Gold Price Today: Near 11:00 AM, the precious metal was trading in red territory. The Gold February's future quoted Rs 53,880 per 10 grams, down by 0.02 percent. Comex spot gold is headed for its biggest monthly gain since May 2021 after the dollar fell on signs that the US Federal Reserve is preparing to slow the pace of interest-rate hikes, Parmar said.

In the international market, gold was trading lower at USD 1,750.46 per ounce while silver was down at USD 21.25 per ounce.

In the previous trade, the yellow metal had touched Rs 52,701 per 10 grams.

Coriander prices declined by Rs 74 to Rs 10,410 per quintal in futures trade as speculators reduced their exposure amid weak demand in the spot market. 

In the previous trade, the precious metal had ended at Rs 53,175 per 10 gram.

The rupee appreciated 50 paise to 81.42 against the US dollar in early trade on Wednesday on broad dollar weakness and improving global risk sentiments.
