The Huber brothers — Chad, Dylan and Tyler — recently bought the business from the Hastey brothers after approaching them in January 2022.

A trio of brothers have acquired Dad’s Cookie Co., a south St. Louis bakery that has been in operation since 1927 and is best known for its Scotch oatmeal cookies.

While Dad's Cookie Company's treats can be found all over town at grocery stores and restaurants, home base has been the same location in south city since 1938. The shop is open Monday through Saturday and offers sweet treats including the original recipe Dad's Original Scotch Oatmeal cookies, a recipe brought from Scotland to California around 1900, as the story goes.
