Police were called to Dalmarnock Bridge around 12.45pm to ensure the weapon was safe.  Co-founder of the Glasgow Magnet Fishing group Mark McGeachin confirmed to the Glasgow Times the gun was recovered by a member of the group.  The find was made during an organised socially-distanced meet.
