The organizer of The Dam Jam Music Festival is dealing with a new issue. CJ Wilson says fraudulent websites are popping up and selling tickets that are not redeemable.

Dam Jam 2024 has solidified its venue for this summers festival, and it’s not at Lake Afton. It’s an empty field in Goddard off 183rd and Kellogg, across the street from a Walmart.

Dam Jam will be moving to east Goddard after their contract with Sedgwick County was not renewed.

In February, Sedgwick County commissioners denied the bid for Dam Jam to be held at Lake Afton.

Organizers of the Dam Jam say the event is still happening and they’re working with the Sedgwick County Board of Commissioners to come to a resolution.

The Dam Jam Music Festival organizer is back and asking for a revote.

Sedgwick County Commissioners voted Wednesday against a contract to allow Dam Jam at Lake Afton in July.

As the Saturday rain showers began to dwindle to a light drizzle, concert-goers lined up around the corner of the Georgia Theatre.

Dam Jam, scheduled for July 19-20, was expected to draw as many as 9,000 attendees.
