Warrensville Heights real estate company Weston is offering the landmark for sale because it has decided to focus on its core business in the bustling industrial real estate market.

Sales of three properties in Cleveland and Lakewood closed in late April, public records show. They're the first wave in a looming tide of transactions, as Montlack Realty seeks to shed nearly 1,500 units.

A Chicago real estate company is the new owner of the Bingham and The Archer apartments in Cleveland's Warehouse District in what's reputed to be a $100 million transaction. Only a handful of downtown buildings have traded in the past few years, as the market has been focused on developing new buildings or converting old offices or warehouses to apartments.
