California prosecutors have dropped domestic violence charges against Justin Roiland, the co-creator of hit Adult Swim animated series “Rick and Morty”

California prosecutors on Wednesday dropped domestic violence charges against Justin Roiland, who created the Cartoon Network animated series “Rick and Morty” and provided the voices of the show’s two title characters.

Prosecutors dismissed Justin Roiland's charges about 2 months after Adult Swim cut ties with the 'Rick and Morty' co-creator.

The charges were dismissed with insufficient evidence, leaving Roiland ‘deeply shaken by the horrible lies’

He said it was "a bitter ex trying to bypass due process and have me ‘canceled.’”
