The Nickerson-South Hutchinson USD 309 Board of Education decided on a $10.5 million price point and 10-year time frame for a new bond proposal.

Last year, nearly 80% of USD 309 voters rejected a $29.9 million bond issue, but today, money is still needed for big repairs.  During last weeks board meeting, School Board President Dan Schweizer brought up the bond issue once again.  He did not support last years bond, saying it was too large a sum for the community. Nickerson will start interviewing for new superintendent early next week Nickerson-South Hutchinson Schools held their board meeting on Monday evening at the district office. During the meeting, the board discussed plans for the search of the new superintendent, students failing due to COVID-19 issues and upcoming assessments.
