The resolutions will allow for the development of one new apartment project and remodel of three existing apartments into affordable housing.

The Vintage at Washington Station project will provide more than 200 low-income housing units for seniors at a prime downtown location.

The Reno Housing Authority has been looking at the Sundowner and Bonanza Inn as potential affordable housing.

The Reno City Council also approved funding for veteran housing and fee reductions for two senior projects.
