Protest movements calling for tourism to be better regulated have sprung up in parts of Spain popular with British holidaymakers including the Canary Islands, Malaga, Majorca and Barcelona

Locals in Malaga are making their feelings towards tourists clear through signs plastered onto apartment blocks.

"This used to be my house" and "A family used to live here before", are some of the more polite phrases used in the sticker campaign initiative, which has gained support
