The Ionia City Council voted 7-0 on Wednesday to accept a $929,940 bid from CL Trucking to complete the Hall Street reconstruction project, including replacement of all underground utilities. A second bid of $932,603 from Montgomery Excavating was rejected ($2,663 more than CL Trucking’s bid).
