Police are still here cleaning up what witnesses described as a crazy accident scene. A maroon minivan was speeding down ocean avenue behind me when it slammed in to that silver car you see being towed right now. That started a scary chain of events that left a dozen people hurt including a jersey city Police Officer who was struck by that silver car while standing on the sidewalk. Cops came, and started talking to people. Reporter you can see one of the cars that was involved in this Chain Reaction crash is towed away from the scene as officers try to piece together exactly how all of this happened. The most important aspect of this is that the officer and several of the people that were taken to the hospital, im told, are all in stable condition and expected to be okay.
