The Plateau House of Assembly has elected a member representing Pankshin North, Gabriel Dawang, as the new Speaker of the Assembly after the resignation of Moses Thomas Sule and his deputy, Hon Gwottaon. Hon Timothy Dantong, representing Riyom constituency, also emerged the new Deputy Speaker of Assembly. Sule and Gwotton resigned from their positions on Monday. Sule represents the Mikang state constituency at the state House of Assembly.
