More than a week after the federal government’s decision to cut the number of student permits it issues, college and university officials on P.E.I. say they have many questions — and few answers.

Daniel Ohaegbu is an advocate, educator and entrepreneur. He has been named one of P.E.I.'s Black Changemakers, a series putting the spotlight on current-day changemakers from Atlantic Canada's Black communities who are helping shape our future.

Food insecurity, driven by the rising food costs across Canada, is a growing issue for many international students and on P.E.I., some groups are trying to help.

Donette Johnson immediately felt at home when she crossed the Confederation Bridge. Finding a job, though, took a while — and she learned some lessons along the way. "It's been a rough ride, but I'm still here," she says.
