The family of a man shot and killed by Winter Park police last weekend held a news conference Tuesday night.

Family members of the man who was shot, and others, say the story being told by Winter Park, Florida police isn't accurate. They're demanding that the officers be arrested and the FBI take over the probe.

Daniel Patrick Knight, 39, was shot and killed by a Winter Park police officer Saturday night.

Audio of the 911 call described Knight as shirtless, drunk and "very violent."

ORLANDO, Fla. — Winter Park police say an officer shot and killed a man who was fighting with guests at a wedding reception Saturday night.

"He just had a little bit to drink," Patricia Keeby, Knight's mother, told WESH 2. "He was excited about his niece's wedding."

The Winter Park Police Department said police shot and killed Daniel Patrick Knight after he allegedly attacked officers at a wedding.
