A judge ruled on Monday that a Santa Rosa teen was not responsible for the fatal stabbing death of a fellow student in a classroom earlier this year.

A Montgomery High School freshman, who is accused of fatally stabbing a 16-year-old junior during a March 1 fight, was followed to class by a group of students.

Pulido was accused of flashing a handgun when a number of people started fighting outside Clearwater Saloon.

Tensions boiled over at City Hall when some City Council members tried but failed to kill a motion to accept a $20 million appropriation from the state that would go toward housing migrants, stating their displeasure with outgoing Mayor Lori Lightfoot’s administration’s handling of the situation.
