Virgil "Reese" King, 24, is charged with murder, unlawful possession of a firearm by a serious violent felon, and two counts of unlawful carrying of a handgun, according to court records. He has pleaded not guilty.

Court documents allege Virgil Miller, 22, and Micah Sanders, 23, fired multiple shots at Daqwuan Walker, 23, of Gary, early Wednesday morning on the 500 block of Chase Street.

Daqwan Walker, 23, of Gary, was pronounced dead on scene by the Lake County Coroners Office Wednesday morning.

A man found shot to death outside a home in Gary, Indiana Wednesday morning has been identified.
