Darling Jack's Tavern, a new restaurant in Philadelphia's Midtown Village neighborhood, is the latest concept from restauranteurs Marcie Turney and Valerie Safran. The restaurant, which serves tavern-style pizza and comfort foods, was inspired by small, neighborhood eateries from around the world. Darling Jack's, at 104 S. 13th St., will participate in Center City Sips, the summer happy hour event.

Parks on Tap, a program that brings beer gardens to different parks throughout Philadelphia, has released its schedule for 2023, which includes 18 locations. A new sandwich shop has also opened in South Philadelphia, and Liberty Point debuts a fresh menu for the season.
