(Reuters) -Singapore Telecommunications (SingTel) said on Monday global investment firm KKR will acquire a 20% stake in SingTel's regional data centre business for S$1.1 billion ($806.87 million). Global investment firm KKR will acquire a 20% stake in Singapore Telecommunications (SingTel) regional data centre business for S$1.1 billion ($806.87 million). SingTel and KKR said the deal will be used to expand the data centres business across Southeast Asian markets. KKR has the option to increase its stake to 25% by 2027.
