Gunmen suspected to be terrorists have reportedly kidnapped the Chairman of Kanke Local Government Council of Plateau State, Henry Gotip. He was said to have been abducted on Wednesday morning in his residence at Kwang in the Jos South local government council of the state. The terrorists were said to have stormed his house around 1am and started shooting for several minutes to scare people who might try to intervene before gaining entrance into his compound and whisked him away.
