Louisiana Tech The longtime voice of the Louisiana Tech Bulldogs Dave Nitz has decided to retire as the radio voice of football and basketball but will remain behind the mic to call baseball games. The 78-year-old Nitz says he’s been considering this transition for about one year. RUSTON â The Louisiana Tech menâs basketball team makes its longest trip of the season this weekend as the Bulldogs head to El Paso to take on UTEP in a two-game series inside the Don Haskins Center.
