Blue Creek Limestone Glade State Nature Preserve was dedicated as Ohio's 145th state nature preserve Dec. 20.

        On Dec. 20, the Ohio Department of Natural Resources (ODNR) joined Metroparks Toledo to dedicate Blue Creek Limestone Glade as Ohio’s 145th state nature preserve. The new preserve harbors several globally rare habitats for plants and wildlife.

         The 47th annual Holidays at the Manor House returns to Wildwood Preserve Metropark Saturday, Dec. 3 through Sunday, Dec. 11, with free tours of more than 30 holiday displays created by volunteers. Hours are 10 a.m.-8 p.m. daily.
