There are many connections between the events of 9/11 and Oklahoma City. Some of these connections revolve around the alleged 9/11 hijackers, the “20th hijacker” Zacarias Moussaoui, and a couple of airports around Oklahoma City.

In Houston, the jail has reached its highest population in a decade. More than half of the detainees who died there had a history of mental problems.

The Department of Public Safety compiles crime statistics based on data provided by law enforcement agencies, like the Harris County Sheriff's Office.

A $2.6 million program was approved in order to try to keep the Harris County streets safer in 2022.

“They are leaving in droves because it’s been an abusive atmosphere that’s been created," said David Batton, the attorney for the deputies' union.
