Complete Streets projects may cost more, but the elements used in road updates makes the thoroughfares safer for all sorts of different types of users and are likely to be a part of more and more projects in the region.

A 2021 review of bridges in Franklin County found the majority of the bridges are ranked “fair” or better. Just 3% of the county’s bridges were ranked “poor" and will be scheduled for rehab or replacement.
