The multi-day snowmobile ride has been canceled for the 2024 Black Woods Blizzard Tour due to warm weather and lack of snow.

The goal of this year's Black Woods blizzard snowmobile tour is to raise $2-million dollars for the fight against ALS.

The 2023 Black Woods Blizzard Tour raised a record $1.9 million for ALS patients, their caregivers, and research efforts.

Two bills in the Minnesota legislature are focused on supporting ALS research and caregiver programs. Senator Dave Tomassoni is retiring this year, after his own diagnosis with this disease.
