NEW PROVIDENCE, NJ – Long-time board member and the current Vice-President of the Board of Education (BOE), Robert Dinerman, announced his resignation from the board at the Thursday, Dec. 10 meeting. He will officially resign as of Dec. 11.
Dinerman explained that he and his wife will be heading to Virginia where their daughter and a newborn grandchild live. “It has been a great run,” he said referring to the past eight years that he has been a member of the BOE. All his three children went through the New Providence public school system.
Dinerman works as a leadership consultant, and he noted that he has never encountered a group of people who could show him a school district that has done as well as New Providence. “It is really a tribute to the leadership that Dr. Miceli has provided.” He truly is one of the best leaders that I have come across, he stated.
