With Liverpool complaining about their run-in we thought wed look back in history at a real, proper, mans run-in as endured by Town back in the seventies. As posted on the Message Board the other day here is Towns run-in from 1974/75 season.

The two Scarborough trialists currently with Town have been named as David Pounder and Ashley Lyth. Pounder is variously described as a promising striker or a midfielder while Lyth is a young defender.

George Burley has revealed that he is set to bring a top level striker in on loan this week. with Marcus Stewart suspended, Alun Armstrong with a back problem and Richard Naylor again suffering with a knee problem Town are in need of cover up front.
