The lawsuit claims the parent has been verbally abusing and harassing school staff for three years with excessive communication.

The Bedford County School Board recently filed a lawsuit against a Staunton River High School parent, claiming abusive language and harassment that cost the division in resources. The Moneta resident in a motion to dismiss argues the school division has not met legal obligations in child’s individualized educational program.
