Coldwater boys bowling team wins final home match over Harper Creek

COLDWATER, MI (WTVB) – The Coldwater varsity boys bowling teams defeated Harper Creek 28-2 on Thursday at Midway Lanes in the last home meet of this season. The Varsity won both regular games 815-722 and 918-725 and took the total 1753-1447. They also won both Baker games 161-133 and 192-147 and won the total 353-280. Coldwater was led by Chance Cook with a 213. Seniors Kai Kinsey and Dayten Yearling bowled their final home games for the Cardinals with Kinsey throwing a 192 and Yearling games of 182 and 191 for a 373 series. In the JV contest, Coldwater took the win 23-7. Winning both regular games 776-657 and 656-589, taking totals 1432-1246. They split the Baker games, losing game one 147-146, winning game two 168-95, taking total 314-242.

Bowling: Coldwater splits with Pennfield, Quincy beaten by Napoleon

BRANCH COUNTY, MI (WTVB) – The Coldwater bowling teams split with Pennfield on Wednesday at M-66 Bowl. The Coldwater boys took a close win 15 1/2 to 14 ½ while the Coldwater girls suffered their second loss of the season as they were beaten by Pennfield 17-13.   The Coldwater boys split the regular games, winning game one 940-880, losing game two 855-848, but they took totals 1788-1735. They also split the Baker games, winning game one 197-166, losing game two 193-131, and losing totals 359-328. Coldwater was led on the night by Dayten Yearling with games 221 and 237 for a 2 game total of 458, Austin Johnson chipped in with a 201 game.

Coldwater bowlers sweep Parma on Senior Recognition Night

COLDWATER, MI (WTVB) – The Coldwater bowlers welcomed Parma Western to Midway Lanes on Senior Recognition Night on Tuesday and won both matches by scores of 25-5 for the boys and 30-0 for the girls. The Coldwater boys took control from the opening ball. Coldwaters Seniors Kai Kinsey and Dayten Yearling led the way with Kinsey shooting a 215 and Yearling with a 201.  All five bowlers shot big scores. Chase Rubley had a 215, Austin Johnson rolled a 204 and Chance Cook had a 196. Coldwater won both Regular games 955-770 and 904-741, taking totals 1859-1511.  They split the Baker games, winning game 1 203-188, losing game two 138-131, but taking totals 334-326.
