Dead Seals News Today

Sightings of dead Caspian Seals on Russian shores have been reported to reach 2500 counts. Most of the carcasses are seen with signs of violent death.

The number of dead seals discovered off the coast on Saturday initially appeared to be 700 but later rose to 2,500, according to the Russian Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment.

More and more dead Caspian seals are being found on the north-west shore of the world's largest inland body of water. Lack of oxygen is said to be the cause.
