from the worst to not so good. carlos suarez, thank you so much. so how is the federal government prepared as hurricane ian barrels towards florida. i m joined by fema administrator deann chriswell who is in miami. thank you so much. thank you for taking the time to have me on today. so you know better than me. hurricane prediction is science but it is not an exact science, right. there are a lot of models and it is hard to predict where it will end up and how big it will be. in your experience, where do you place ian in terms of the threat to the coast, particularly to the west coast of florida? yeah, i think you re exactly right, jim. there is an art to this science. and as it gets closer and closer to landfall, it gets more refined. what i would say right now is that this is going to have some impacts to florida. we re going to see significant impacts along the western coast and parts of the panhandle. but the people inland should also take this very seriously. things that w
