Aspen Ski Company filed a federal lawsuit against British brand Perfect Moment for using its likeness and locations for marketing its products — without getting Aspen's permission first.

A Ski resort owner in Aspen has sued a fashion brand that is sending "influencers" to do photo shoots in its clothing on the slopes.

Aspen Skiing Co. filed a lawsuit Wednesday that accuses Perfect Moment, a London-based skiwear maker, of trademark infringement, among other allegations related to the company using influencers to shoot campaigns at the resort.

A lawsuit claims a London skiwear maker uses the resorts’ “luxury lifestyle” to sell $800 jackets.
