This EDA grant, to be located in a Tax Cuts and Jobs ActOpportunity Zone , will be matched with $670,000 in local funds and is expected to help create 100 jobs and generate $18 million in private investment.

PITTSBURG, Kan. – The U.S. Department of Commerce invests $1.6 million to support polymer research at Pittsburg State University. The grant will be matched with $400,000 in local funds, is expected to create 50 jobs, retain 25 jobs and generate $2 million in private investment.
The Kansas Polymer Research Center (KPRC), located within the Tyler Research Center at PSU, is an internationally-recognized center for chemistry and materials science with a specialization in vegetable oil-based polymer research and development.
Today, U.S. Secretary of Commerce Wilbur Ross announced the grant to provide instrumentation and equipment to the newly established National Institute for Materials Advancement at the Kansas Polymer Research Center.

The EDA grant, to be located in a Tax Cuts and Jobs Act Opportunity Zone, will be matched with more than $14 million in state and local funds, and is expected to create 225 jobs, retain more than 100 jobs, and generate $142 million in private investment.

COLUMBIA, S.C. (WIS) - The South Carolina Department of Parks, Recreation, and Tourism has been awarded a $3 million grant to support the stateâs Tourism Recovery Marketing Plan.
The funding comes from the U.S. Department of Commerceâs Economic Development Administration through the CARES Act.
